Latest News from Gerald Heinrichs

Since 1989 Gerald Heinrichs has been a member of Rotary International. His home club is the Regina Industrial Parks Rotary Club.

Gerald has held numerous executive positions with his Club including secretary, international service director, and counsellor to the Model United Nations in Winnipeg.

In 2000 he received the designation of Paul Harris Fellow.

In 1997 Gerald was a participant in the District 5550 Friendship Exchange to the provinces of Tamil Nadu and Kerala in India. In 2001 he was the team leader on a similar friendship exchange to Turkey.  In 2007 he was a participant in another exchange to South Africa and Lesotho.  In these three exchanges, Gerald Heinrichs has seen Rotary at work with many projects including school construction, polio vaccinations, and care for victims of HIV/AIDS.

For the more than 7 years Gerald has been the editor of the club bulletin. His publication The Pipeline won a Best Bulletin Award at the Rotary District Convention in Regina in June 2000.
